- In the case of a Triangular Grid: Plant spacing = √(2 / (√3 * density))
- In the case of a Square Grid: Plant spacing = √(1 / density)

How to Determine the Number of Plants for a Particular Area?
When determining the number of plants needed for a particular area, it is necessary to know the area of the planting bed.
- For a rectangular bed, multiply the length by width. This represents the area of the garden.
- For a circular bed, multiply 3.14 by the radius2. For a triangular bed, multiply 5 times the height of the triangle multiplied by five.
